Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro backdrop. It lies North West of Kilimanjaro, on the border with Tanzania thus referred to as Kilimanjaro royal court. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. One can also visit the local Maasai community who live in the park and experience their authentic culture.
Leave Nairobi and drive to Amboseli via beautiful Athi plains arriving at Amboseli National Park in time for lunch. Later on, proceed for an afternoon game drive; Amboseli is famous for the large herds of elephant and also with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak providing a beautiful snow back drop. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfasts relax in the hotel swimming and later on have lunch at lodge. Then later in the afternoon, you can opt for an optional visit a local Masai village to learn about the nomadic lifestyle. The Masai are famous for their bravery, as they have co-existed with the region’s wild animals for centuries. Or go for an afternoon game drive returning to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, leave Lodge for Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon then drop off hotel/airport.
