Our commute route is the A2 highway via Nanyuki and Isiolo. Our first stop is at Nanyuki for a brunch and shopping stop. After a half hour's break, we continue our journey up north. Enjoy incredible views of some of Kenya’s most breathtaking landscapes, including rolling plains, farmlands, and picturesque hills.

Before checking into Sabache Eco camp, we shall pop into Buffalo Springs reserve to take a refreshing dip in their natural pool, take a quick game drive then continue on to Sabache Eco Camp. Upon arrival at Sabache Camp, we will set up our tents and take in the serene environment. After settling in, we will have our dinner by the bonfire. Thereafter, enjoy a relaxing evening and night under a star-studded sky, soaking in the tranquil ambiance of the wild, and preparing for the thrilling ascent the next morning.

We will wake up at 3:00 a.m. and gear up for the exhilarating hike to the summit. The trek begins at 3:30 a.m., following an occasionally steep yet rewarding trail through diverse vegetation and rugged terrain. The hike takes the average hiker approximately 3-4 hours to reach the summit. Our aim is to get there just in time to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the vast Samburu plains.
