This itinerary includes Amboseli National Park, iconic for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, with afternoon and full-day game drives; followed by short morning game drives and a transfer to Tsavo West, a rugged, scenic park with lava flows, natural springs, and diverse wildlife including leopards and elephants, for afternoon and short morning game drives; then a transfer to Tsavo East, known for its vast open plains, red-dust elephants, and dramatic landscapes, for afternoon and short morning game drives before transferring back to Nairobi.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Start your safari adventure with a morning departure from your Nairobi Hotel/ Airport from Nairobi at 6:30 AM, driving towards Amboseli National Park. The journey, taking about 4 to 4.5 hours, is scenic, with views of Kenya’s diverse landscapes. Upon arrival at your lodge in Amboseli, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch. After settling in, take in the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli. Known for its iconic elephant herds and big tuskers, Amboseli offers excellent opportunities to observe a variety of wildlife against the stunning backdrop of Kilimanjaro.

Return to your lodge in the evening at around 5:30-6 PM, freshen up, and enjoy your freshly prepared dinner and a restful night.

Day 02 Full Day Game Drive Amboseli

[Option 1] A full day game drive [one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

[Option 2] Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, return to the camp for breakfast, then after breakfast relax in the hotel enjoying the facilities, have lunch at the lodge, and later in the evening, you can opt for an optional visit to a local Maasai village to learn about the nomadic lifestyle. Or go for an evening game drive, returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

[Option 3] You could also do a very early morning Hot Air Balloon safari flight with some champagne breakfast, then proceed for a full day game drive with packed lunch. Exit the park gate by 6 PM and return to your lodge by 6.30 pm for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park via Chyulu gate with a game drive, arriving at your lodge in time for check-in and lunch. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Tsavo West, exploring the park's diverse landscapes, including the Shetani Lava Flow, Mzima Springs, and the stunning Chyulu Hills. The park is known for its big tuskers, as well as lions, leopards, and rhinos. In the evening, return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 04 Tsavo West to Tsavo east National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo West, taking in the beauty of the park as the sun rises. After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Tsavo East National Park, a drive of about 2 to 2.5 hours. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, then head out for an afternoon game drive in Tsavo East, known for its red elephants and vast open spaces. Explore the park's diverse habitats and watch for lions, leopards, and a variety of other wildlife.

Return to your lodge in the evening at around 5:30- 6 PM, and freshen up. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 05 Tsavo East- Nairobi

After a relaxed breakfast at the camp/lodge, we shall check out, followed by an onward departure back to Nairobi by road. Arrive in Nairobi by early afternoon [typically by 2.30 pm]. Drop off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
